This policy explains what information Empanada Lady Jax ("Empanada Lady," "we," "us") collects from visitors to empanadaladyjax.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to online orders placed on this site, Spanish workshop sign-ups and inquiries, and any other way you contact us through this site.

Information we collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, phone number, email address (if you give it), requested pickup time, your order items, and any notes you add. When you sign up for or ask about our Spanish workshops, we collect the information you enter on the form: your name, email, phone number, your Spanish level, what you'd like to register for, who invited you, and anything else you tell us.

If you pay online, your card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Square or Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.

We also collect basic technical information automatically, such as your browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you visit. This is standard web-server data.

How we use it

• To prepare your order, let you know when it's ready, and answer questions about it.
• To register you for Spanish workshops, send class details and reminders, and respond to your inquiry.
• To process payment, where applicable.
• To send you news, offers, and event announcements — only if you have asked to receive them.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate: our website host, our customer-management and form provider (AllSync), our text-messaging provider, and our payment processor. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us. We may also disclose information where required by law.

SMS / text messaging

Our order checkout and workshop form each offer two separate, optional text-message opt-ins:

• Order & class updates (transactional) — "your order is ready," pickup details, workshop confirmations and reminders, and replies to your questions.
• Promotions (marketing) — new flavors, specials, pop-up locations, and event announcements.

If you opt in, we collect your mobile number and a record of your consent, including the date and the consent language you agreed to. Each kind of message requires its own separate opt-in, and neither is a condition of any purchase or registration. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance. Full program terms are in our Terms & Conditions.

Cookies and analytics

This site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your cart and measure traffic. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Turning cookies off may affect how parts of the site work.

Third-party links

Our pages link to Instagram, Etsy, Square, and other services. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Retention

We keep order, workshop, and contact records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our business, tax, and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message or by contacting us. Reach us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
