These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of empanadaladyjax.com and the food orders and Spanish workshops offered through it by Empanada Lady Jax ("Empanada Lady," "we," "us"), located at 12200 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. By using this site, placing an order, submitting a workshop form, or opting in to our text messages, you agree to these Terms.

SMS / text messaging program

Empanada Lady offers a text messaging program that sends two kinds of messages, each with its own separate consent checkbox on our order checkout and workshop form:

How you opt in. You opt in by checking the corresponding consent box when you place an order or submit the workshop form on this website with your mobile number. Checking either box is optional, and consent is not a condition of any purchase or registration.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your orders, classes, and your interactions with us. These are recurring messages: you may receive multiple messages over the course of an order, a workshop series, or a promotion.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Empanada Lady does not charge for text messages, but your carrier's standard rates apply.

Opting out. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will send a final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages. To rejoin, opt in again through our website or reply START.

Help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us directly at empanadaladyjax@gmail.com or (754) 422-3912.

Carriers. The program is available on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number. We will not share or sell your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Changes to your number. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, please let us know so we can update our records.

Online orders

Orders placed on this site are requests for pickup and are confirmed when we accept them. Prices and availability are as shown at the time of ordering and may change; flavors may sell out. Unless you pay online at checkout, payment is due at pickup. Online payments are processed by our payment processor under its own terms. Please let us know about allergies in the order notes — our empanadas are made in a kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, and other allergens.

Spanish workshops

Submitting the workshop form registers your interest or seat request; we will confirm your spot and schedule details by email or text. Workshop packages are priced as shown on the form and are non-transferable unless we agree otherwise. Schedules and locations may change; we will notify registered participants of any change.

Using this site

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information in any order or form you submit. The content on this site — text, images, and branding — belongs to Empanada Lady or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Disclaimers

This site and its content are provided "as is." While we work to keep information current, we do not guarantee that every detail — such as hours, menu, pricing, or availability — is complete or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empanada Lady is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this site.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site or the messaging program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
